I think you missed the memo. You're not supposed to *analyse* the data, because the Government has already provided you with all the information that you need! All tidied up and sterilised and ready to believe!

It's worth noting that "Didn't vote" would beat Trump or Biden in nearly every county.

This is mostly anti-south bigotry. I'm southern but, went to the NE for college and my in-laws are there. Let me disabuse you of the idea that Blue State "coastal elites" will ever consider that red states, especially in the south, aren't "stoopid" or doing everything wrong. No joke, my in-laws were surprised we had indoor plumbing in a major southern city, and in college, people were routinely shocked that I could read and think. That's the general mentality, ain't gonna change for the coof.

Also know that GA is NOT blue:

Curious about your population stats as I've read about the mass migration from blue to red in 2021-22.

I think the addendum proves your point well. Also, using Covid outcomes as evidence of moral superiority (which the NYT et al. are trying to do) is pretty reactionary when you consider that blacks, hispanics, and native Americans have had worse age-adjusted outcomes than whites and asians.

I’ve read many a NYT or NPR article which blames this effect purely on politics. It’s nice to see a solid debunking. Thanks.

Newsom is lining up to run against DeSantis in 2024. Let's all hope Gavin's Guillain-Barre syndrome kicks in during a debate, it will be just like a Batman movie with the Joker.
