The scary thing is that the situation doesn't seem to be improving. Remember how people use to joke it was VAIDS?

Curious if the younger age group issue still shows up so prominently if it was presented as excess mortality with a 5 year baseline?

And how many of those covid deaths were actually covid deaths?

--------

Comorbidities and other conditions

Table 3 shows the types of health conditions and contributing causes mentioned in conjunction with deaths involving COVID-19. The number of deaths that mention one or more of the conditions indicated is shown for all deaths involving COVID-19 and by age groups. For over 5% of these deaths, COVID-19 was the only cause mentioned on the death certificate. For deaths with conditions or causes in addition to COVID-19, on average, there were 4.0 additional conditions or causes per death. For data on deaths involving COVID-19 by time-period, jurisdiction, and other health conditions,

Gosh - thank goodness they all had access to those miracle vaccines. Just think how much worse it would be if they didn't all keep taking those safe and effective jabs.

The large increases started before the vax... could very well be drugs or other "deaths of despair". I don't think the level of detail of this data (annual buckets) is enough to say much about the impact of the vax on these numbers, other than saying we don't see a return to 2018-19 deaths for any age group so clearly there is more to the story than just reducing COVID deaths. I'll look to see how I do with Wonder on additional causes of death. Seems like I often run into Wonder telling me "that's too many records", so I get frustrated and don't get the level of detail I'd like.
