Great addition!

Am I doing something wrong as far as trying to scroll the map? I have to zoom-hop to move around (Safari and Chrome). Possibly more of a Tableau question / issue.

You likely still have it filtered. Click the county you filtered on a second time to “unfilter”

Hm, that doesn't make any apparent difference. Also I should have said "pan," not scroll. Also, if it's supposed to be with push-mousewheel I don't have that. Either way it still works with zoom-hopping until I'm where I want to be

Hmm… not sure without seeing it. But I can add regular filter for country, if that’s helpful

Well, just in general, how are you moving the map around when you use it? I can change what is lit up with the continent filter, but the map doesn't move. The only thing I can do to the map "manually" is zoom. Now I see that the search function easily snaps to specific countries though.

Excellent work with the dashboard.

It seems you are doing some really excellent work. I myself am so busy with the US data that I am reading very little other substacks, but it seems our work overlaps to some degree.

I have recently plotted COVID mortality by age group:

https://vigilance.pervaers.com/p/just-the-charts-covid-mortality-by

More importantly though, since you are into detailled mortality data, I created this:

https://cdcsucks.pervaers.com

There's an article with some info on what I did to yield those charts:

https://vigilance.pervaers.com/p/usa-excess-mortality-for-1790-icd

And since a reader asked me for the data, I prepared that also

https://substack.pervaers.com/USA_Misc/deathcertprocessed.csv

Not trying to promote myself here, I just thought you might get some value out of this.

I have also modelled the first 60 or so days of daily vaccinations for all campaigns in all states and for all age groups. Let me know if you are interested in having a data package prepared for you.
