A couple week back I wrote a post about the various confounders that make determining the efficacy of the vaccines basically impossible through strictly observational data:
You should send your resume to MSNBC, CNN and face. And HHS. They need competent analysts.
But as we all suspect, they probably have competent analysts, but have chosen to suppress them, or subvert their work to support their political objectives. As Mark Twain observed, (corrupt) figures lie and liars figure.
Thanks, I guess? 😂 Yeah, it's hard for me to discern if so much of the analysis we see out there is the result of incompetence or shameless confirmation bias.
These charts require someone able to understand statistics and nuance.
These were really interesting, especially the ones correlating to income v obesity, exercise and smoking. The problem is that income in my state is also correlated to being on team blue, and hence on team covid "if one booster is good, then 3 are 3x as good" ...
Your charts make me realize how hard it is to *conclude* much of anything, per your prior article.
I have to examine it a bit better when my head is in the right place (exhausting day)
charts and graphs should excite me, but they do not.
During this whole circus, I am still not so convinced on the reporting of actual covid deaths, really the confirmed test results. I there is so much bogus crap going on. it all makes me so disinterested in, well, the charts and graphs.
I will have a look. I did find my county in Virginia. We did not have a lot of death here, but I wonder if that is because we are constantly being reminded that we are the wealthiest county in the US (seems like a stretch to me). We moved here in 1997 when this place was cow farms and two high schools in the whole county.
At this time, we are amassing server buildings like crazy. We must have 100 by now.

... or, (likely) worse. I suspect entrenched corruption. Their incompetence softens their assault.

Thank you!!!
YES! MORE DATA!
this is excellent.

Thank you for putting this fancy chart together
Thank you I Numero!
Omg, your site is incredible. I am stunned about how easy it is to change the variables. Well done. 👍🏽👏✨
