Hi all. Obviously I’ve been quiet for awhile. As 99% of the focus of this stack has been related to analyzing COVID data, I hit a bit of a wall once new data stopped being published & frankly, I haven’t had a lot of new questions I wanted to ask. I just published a post that categorizes my main topics & posts:
That being said, a motivating factor for starting the stack was so that I had an outlet to document things that were occupying my thoughts, and there would be a record of those thoughts, ideas, analysis, etc. I can return to these posts in the future, see what I got right/wrong, and generally provide a written record. My memory is not getting any better & I’m not interested in memory-holing any of this, whether it makes me look wise or foolish.
So, per the title of this post, I am hoping my audience will indulge me if I start writing some posts that are non-COVID and likely less data rich. As an analytical guy, I will continue to due my best to present arguments based on logic, not emotion, but posts may not include much, if any, data. If you are not interested in hearing my thoughts on other topics, please feel free to email me & I’ll provide a full refund of your subscription costs 🤣 . Also, if there are interesting questions in the world and data available to help answer them, feel free to leave suggestions on topics I could dig into in a similar fashion that I did with COVID data.
Thanks! -T Coddington
